Money movement

A sent payment still needs confirmation.

Termn shows the approved instructions, sender report, bank or provider documentation, and final reconciliation as separate steps.

The bank moves the funds. Termn keeps the movement record.

Sender report
Marks the payment for receipt review; it does not prove receipt.
Receipt evidence
Shows what posted at the bank or provider and whether it matches the expected movement.
Authorized reconciliation
Confirms receipt after an owner or administrator matches the accepted documentation.

Authorization, sending, receipt, and reconciliation remain separate.

The movement status advances only when the corresponding information or review exists.

  1. Authorized

Exact amount, currency, reference, parties, rail, purpose, and policy snapshot exist.

  2. Instructions ready

An approved active instruction version is attached to the movement.

  3. Sender reported

The sender says the wire, ACH credit, or check was sent outside Termn.

  4. Receipt pending

Supporting or recipient evidence exists, but no authorized exact match is complete.

  5. Reconciled

An owner or administrator matched policy-accepted bank or provider evidence.

  6. Exception or returned

The history retains the problem and supporting details. A cancellation without loss remains a separate neutral terminal outcome.

Different documents answer different questions.

Sender and recipient materials explain the transfer. Bank or provider materials can support final reconciliation.

Supporting evidence

Explains what the sender or recipient observed.

  • External confirmation number
  • Wire or ACH initiation receipt
  • Check image or check number
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Recipient acknowledgement
Moves the payment into receipt review. Final reconciliation still requires an authorized bank or provider match.

Reconciling evidence

Supports an exact, authorized receipt match.

  • Posted receiving-account activity
  • Reviewed bank statement
  • Approved connected-account data
  • Provider settlement record
  • Cleared check or receiving-account posting
May reconcile only when the movement's policy permits the evidence form and an owner or administrator confirms the match.
A check being written, photographed, mailed, delivered, or signed for does not prove funds transferred.

Paper-check reconciliation requires allowed cleared-funds evidence such as a cleared-check image, receiving-account posting, or bank statement.

SAFE funding and private loans use different controls.

Each product defines its own parties, professional reviews, instructions, and acceptable supporting documents.

Founder SAFE funding

Investor-initiated domestic wire with fixed verification requirements.

  • Two distinct instruction approvers
  • Exact signed amount and investor reference
  • Approved active instructions revealed after signature
  • Issuer-side bank or provider evidence and reconciliation
Close a SAFE round

Known-party private loans

Separate movements for principal, installments, and payoff.

  • Organization-approved wire, ACH credit, or paper check
  • Configurable evidence forms and instruction approvals
  • Exact amount and reference required for every payment
  • Funding must reconcile before scheduled payments advance
Coordinate a private loan

Protect account details and preserve instruction changes.

Approved instructions only

A sender cannot acknowledge a movement until an active instruction version is attached.

Sensitive details stay protected

Full routing and account values are encrypted, limited to authorized viewers, and never included in website or campaign measurement.

Every view leaves a record

Instruction access, evidence, reconciliation, exceptions, and returns remain attributable in the audit trail.

Changes create new versions

New policies and instructions supersede earlier versions. Existing movements retain the version that governed their authorization.

Termn documents the workflow. Banks and payment providers move the funds.

Confirm SAFE funding or private-loan payments.

Each route requires approved instructions, exact matching, and authorized receipt confirmation.
